Glenn Forster
Founder of Forster Construction
(1947 - 2006)
Born in 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas, Glenn moved to Lubbock as a small boy. After serving his country in the armed forces as a young man, Glenn started working in the construction business. After only a few short years, he soon learned that the construction field was his calling. Therefore, in 1985, he started his own construction business with his brother Steve and they called it Forster Brothers Construction. After 15 years of strictly residential construction, Glenn decided to venture in a new direction with his son Kyle and son-in-law Scott Cook into commercial construction. With their combined techniques and expertise they rapidly cultivated the business and soon it became known as Forster Construction, Inc. After years of hard work and perseverance, Glenn, with their help, built Forster into the thriving, successful business it is today. Even after his passing in 2006, Glenn's passion and presence reflect in all of Forster Construction's projects. He is still an integral part of the company. He is loved, well missed, and remembered daily.
Kyle Forster
President/Owner
Born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, Kyle is the son of founder Glenn Forster. Kyle graduated from Texas Tech with a Business and Marketing degree in 2001. Kyle joined Forster Construction with a desire to work with his father and to help mature the family business. Kyle brought a lot of new, innovative marketing ideas to Forster, which instantly increased the production rates. Kyle has led the team to thrive in our daily positions, and through his hard work and patience he has taught each of us how to sincerely care about the well-being of the customer and strive for quality work. He has embedded his exceptional customer service skills into each of his employees and has continued his father's dream by making Forster a renowned and common local name throughout West Texas. Ensuring the customer's happiness is Kyle's greatest goal. After Glenn's passing, Kyle took over his role as president and continued to work in Glenn's legacy. Now, with a family and son of his own, Kyle strives to follow in his father's footsteps and pass on to his son what his father passed down to him: a love and passion for the work that he accomplishes.
Scott Cook
Owner/ Engineering Graduate
Scott was born in Lubbock, but spent his childhood in Levelland, TX. Scott graduated from Texas Tech in 2001 with a mechanical engineering/technology degree. He joined Forster Construction soon after, in 2001, in order to work with his future father-in-law, Glenn, and his good friend and now brother-in-law Kyle Forster. Scott brought strong ambition and motivation to Forster Construction as a company, and provided the strong engineering background Forster needed to consider larger projects. He has been able to use his abilities to work with the subcontractors and suppliers to get the best products and services delivered to the customer, make sure that all the measurements and bids are worked up correctly, and help our superintendents maintain quality throughout the building and installation processes. Today, with the help of Kyle, Scott has contributed to the growth of Forster Construction and states that "Forster is finally where I always hoped it would be."
David Rivera
Chief Superintendent
David has been a huge asset to the Forster & GKS Team over the past three years. He has led Forster a long way through the construction business because of his vast experience. We commend David time and time again for his hard work, great company appearance, and his expertise. He is a wonderful superintendent. David will get up at 3am just to resolve problems on projects, usually within 24 hours, even on holidays or weekends. He always ensures that our workers get the job done right and in a timely fashion, upholds our name and quality work, and supervises each and every project daily
Anthony Forster
Estimator/Salesman
Anthony is also one of Glenn's sons. He has worked in other fields throughout his lifetime but, like his father and Kyle, he enjoys watching the company continue to enhance its name and complete more projects. He has always enjoyed helping out his brother, and has now become one of our finest estimators and salesman. Anthony has always been good with his words and does a great job out in the field and keeping up our production. He is hard working and sincerely cares about the future of Forster Construction, as well as each and every customer he serves.
Andrea Forster
Office Manager
Andy (short for Andrea) Forster is Kyle's wife, and has worked hard to build the strong foundation Forster stands on. She handles all of the accounting, billing, and other administrative tasks necessary for the company. She is always hard at work and on top of all Forster Construction developments. Andrea keeps Forster & GKS Commercial together and running smoothly!
Diane Cook
Administrative Assistant
Diane is the mother of Scott Cook and joined Forster in May 2007. After working as an educator with Levelland ISD for 32 years, Diane joined Forster as an administrative assistant in order to work with her son. Diane is very sincere, honest, and always very sweet. She is ready and willing to do whatever is asked of her always. She has been wonderful for Andrea and helps her with all of the office duties. We are very grateful to have Diane as part of our team.
